Un componente fundamental e indispensable de todo sistema de refrigeración es el control de flujo, o dispositivo reductor de presión.  Sus fines principales son:

1.    Mantener la presión y punto de ebullición adecuados en el evaporador para manejar la carga térmica deseada.
2.    Permitir el flujo del refrigerante hacia el evaporador a la velocidad necesaria para eliminar el calor de la carga.






A fundamental and indispensable component of all cooling system is the flow control, or reducing device of pressure. Their main aims are: 1. To maintain the pressure and boiling point adapted in the evaporator to handle the wished thermal load. 2. To allow the flow of the coolant towards the evaporator to the speed necessary to eliminate the heat of the load.
